Why did you decide to get into the knowledge industry? (5:30)
Dean Graziosi didn’t start out in the infomercials we remember him for. In his early years Dean Graziosi was grinding on a variety of things from fixing cars all the way to building houses - all before he was about 25 years old!
Dean Graziosi didn’t start out with money. He wasn’t born into a wealthy family. Dean simply didn’t want to struggle in life.
At a young age Dean Graziosi was having success but it wasn’t exactly healthy for him. Sleepless nights, ulcers, sick to his stomach - all of the success traps.
What fundamentally shifted his way of thinking? Tony Robbins’ courses, (of course)!
Do you remember the first time someone wrote in saying, “you changed my life?” (9:00)
Dean Graziosi got into the knowledge industry not only to make his own life better - but what better way is there to make a living than to help people get paid?!
Now, Dean has started 13 companies and is in a place where if he wanted to cash out, he totally could. But, now he doesn’t want to cash out because he is addicted to the impact he is making on others’ lives.
Just like Dean , each of us have a responsibility to wake up every single day with impact on our minds.
How important do you think self-education is in today’s world? (12:00)
If you ask Dean Graziosi - specialized knowledge is what everybody is looking for in today’s world. General knowledge is just simply not enough. Going to school and getting 4 different degrees isn’t going to help you if you didn’t get specialized knowledge in a particular area.
Trial and error is hard. You can just about always find a course or training on whatever you want to learn - 10 years of knowledge is condensed into a weekend workshop.
Self-education is in every niche you can possibly imagine! Your mess is your message. You can take your journey and serve them by selling them a course to get there faster.
What gives people the momentum they need? (21:00)
Dean Graziosi says there are two different ways to pivot your life and get the momentum you need:
- You can not let your uncertainty cause you to freeze.
- Identity what success means to you - at this age, on this day, in this space.
